Pro Sports Assembly and Navigate Launch Second Annual Public Policy Poll for the Professional Sports Industry

Owners, Investors and Full-Time Leaders at US-Based Professional Sports Teams, Leagues, and Unions are Being Polled on Public Policy Operations and Priorities

AUSTIN,TX - August 18, 2026 – Pro Sports Assembly (“PRO”), the industry association for professional sports organizations and business leaders, along with Navigate, the association’s research and insights partner, today launched the second annual PRO Public Policy Poll.

The industry-wide research initiative equips owners, equity holders, and senior leaders across U.S.-based professional sports organizations with valuable insights into how public policy, regulatory matters, and operational shifts are shaping the industry.

Navigate, a data-driven consulting firm serving the sports and entertainment industry, will lead the research, analysis and interpretation of the poll results. The poll aims to:

  • Identify the key public policy and regulatory concerns of professional sports leaders

  • Inform team, league, and union leaders where there is alignment, and where there is notTrack industry trends over time, including shifts since the inaugural 2025 poll

  • Explore the development of an industry-wide advocacy framework to educate federal, state and municipal lawmakers and help mitigate risks across the professional sports ecosystem

The poll covers two facets of public policy; 1) how organizations operate in the space and 2) what priorities and concerns leaders have for the industry.. Anyone who works full-time or has an equity position in a professional sports organization is invited to participate in the poll. PRO membership is not required. Certain sections will only be visible to Director+ level and above respondents.

The Public Policy Poll is open August 18 through September 4, 2026.

About the poll:

  • Field Dates: August 18 through September 4, 2026

  • Eligibility: US-based professional sports organization owners, executives and full-time employees; being a member of Pro Sports Assembly is not required.

  • Results: Reported in aggregate and interpreted by Navigate.

  • Availability:Data will be available to PRO member organizations.

  • Methodology: The poll will be administered via the secure online platform SightX. Responses are anonymous and will only be reported in aggregate. Participants will be asked to provide their organizational email address solely to confirm eligibility (full-time employment or equity in a US-based professional sports organization); however, email addresses will never be tied to individual responses.
